Burren Junction Fishing Club is holding the fishing event of the year from 17 to 19 March for all fishing lovers, large and small – a carp muster.
A carp muster is a family-friendly event that calls upon all muster-goers to compete for the most carp caught. Other than bragging rights and a prize pool of $2000, a mega raffle draw is on offer at the presentation on Sunday, 19 March. With an entry fee of $10 for adults and $5 for children under 16, this is the perfect family event with fun times written all over it.
All fish must be caught within the confined area of the Namoi River, and all competitors must have a New South Wales fishing license. If you can manage this, then you’re set!
