The world-class New England Equine equestrian centre in Moonbi is hosting Blue Moon Performance Horse Training for a day of practice and competition on the 19th of March, postponed from the 5th.
The event promises to be a fantastic, fun-filled day with a range of divisions from tiny tots (minimum age is 3 years and handler must be an adult) to youths (under 18 years), amateur and open.
There is also a wide variety of events to compete such as Best Presented Horse and Handler, Halter class trial obstacles, Ranch Trial, and sporting (Keyhole, T-Race, Figure 8 and pole bending).
Be sure to arrive at the open pen at 7:30 am which will run through to 8:20 am, ready for an 8:30 am start (with a Q & A time along with instructions from coach Barbara Moon). Competitive events will begin at 9:00 am.
There are plenty of prizes up for grabs on the day such as horse accessories, jewellery vouchers, leather handbags as well as lucky draws during the lunchtime break!
Barbara Moon has been involved in the equine industry for 45 years and has a lifetime of experience to offer as a trainer a clinician and a judge. Blue Moon also offers Clinics and lessons as private (at the student’s own residence), semi-private and group lessons at Moonbi Indoor arena.

Costs for the event are as follows:
Insurance/Ground fee: $50
Adult: $25
Youth: $25
Tiny Tot and Para-Equestrian class: $3.50
