The University of New England (UNE) will welcome up to 1600 visitors to the Armidale Campus for autumn graduations on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 April.
Spread across three ceremonies, 650 graduands will mark the completion of their studies, accompanied by friends and family.
UNE Interim Vice-Chancellor Professor Simon Evans said he is pleased to welcome graduands, their friends and families onto the Armidale Campus.
“Graduation is one of the most important events on the academic calendar for our staff and students, and visiting Armidale for graduation on the lawns of historic Booloominbah is an absolute highlight.
“The UNE Armidale Campus has turned on the beautiful autumn colours that our region is known for, and the Graduation team are looking forward to hosting our visitors and sharing in this exciting event.
“I extend the invitation to the wider community to come up to the Armidale campus and hear from the speakers at the three ceremonies this April.”
The weather for Friday’s graduation ceremonies will be New England Autumn perfect with the Bureau predicting a partly cloudy day and a top of 20 degrees. There is a high likelihood of showers for Saturday, but fingers crossed that they hold off for the afternoon so the Science, Ag, Business and Law graduands can also enjoy their big day on the lawns of Boolominbah.
A livestream will also be available for those who are not able to attend. Use the links below to join the livestreams via Facebook, or via YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/@UNEArmidale/streams
