The Electric Ute Roadshow is coming to Narrabri on Tuesday to launch a community EV charging station.
With fuel prices soaring and regional Australians hit hardest, electric vehicles (EVs) are becoming more and more popular, and charging stations present new opportunities for investment in local communities.
A fun-filled morning on the banks of the Namoi River talking all things utes and electrification! Starting with an official launch of the community EV charging station at 64 Barwan St and moving to behind the Crossing Theatre for the Electric Ute Roadshow, free BBQ and other displays!
Fimer has donated an EV charging station to the community which will be officially launched at 11am. Presenters include Ben Lever and Ajaya Haikerwal from Solar Citizens, as well as speakers Farmers for Climate Action. We’ll also be finishing up with a delicious BBQ for attendees.
One of Australia’s first electric utes, which is touring regional Australia on the Electric Ute Roadshow to showcase the cost savings and other benefits electric vehicles can bring to the regions, will be on display at the launch.
