A man has died following a stabbing in the South Tamworth yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to a unit block on Woodward Avenue, South Tamworth, about 3.15pm on Sunday 18 June, following reports a man had been stabbed.
Upon arrival, police located a 37-year-old man suffering a stab wound; despite efforts from police and NSW Ambulance paramedics, he died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified.
Officers attached to Oxley Police District established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
