The first ever New England Wedding Showcase will be held at the Armidale Showgrounds on Sunday 4 February 2024. The day will be the first of what is hoped to become an annual event, and promises to be a one-stop shop, showcasing some of the best wedding vendors in the New England region.
Event organiser Sam Skinner says, “The showcase will be an opportunity for guests to meet and chat with a variety of wedding vendors from all over the region, and also to see trends and ideas for their upcoming wedding.”
With New England being such a large area, with a wide variety of vendors, the showcase offers couples the opportunity to connect with multiple businesses, all in the convenience of one location.
When asked what kinds of vendors and providers will be attending the showcase, Ms Skinner says, “We have gathered some of the best wedding vendors throughout New England…With over 20 vendors, from Celebrant to Venue, Make Up to DJ and everything in between, you’ll be able to find everything you need to bring your dream day to life.”
The official Facebook page for the showcase has just started running business profiles for some of the involved vendors, with local photographer Anna Kemph and the Armidale City Bowling Club highlighted thus far. Tickets are on sale now for $5 per adult (under 16s are free) and can be purchased online, or at the door on the day.
Ms Skinner tells us that they are currently running an early bird ticket draw, and all tickets purchased prior to the 15th of January will be eligible to win a $200 prize pack.
There will also be exclusive discounts and giveaways, as well as a raffle prize pool worth over $1000 to be drawn on the day.
Aside from offering a valuable pool of resources for soon-to-be-weds, the event is also raising funds for the Westpac Helicopter Service.
“The Armidale branch of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Support group is proudly presenting this event and hope that it will become an annual event raising money for this amazing service … All proceeds (vendor fees, ticket sales and raffle proceeds) will be donated to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter,” says Ms Skinner.
