Have you ever dreamed of becoming a grazier who works with professional working dogs? This might just be your big chance!

ABC is poised to produce their third series of the much-loved television show ‘Muster Dogs’ and they’re searching for their next round of humans to work alongside some very cute, very smart puppies.

The series aims to match up farmers with a puppy and both will then learn the skills of dog mustering together.

It has been heralded as a great feel-good show, that also highlights life on the land.

The last series has garnered so much support that the show has not only been nominated for the 2024 Logies but has also been picked up by international streaming service, Netflix.

Season One focused on the Kelpie breed, Season Two Border Collies and, while there has been no suggestion as to what breed will be worked with on Season Three, they are looking for graziers of all experience levels to participate in the show.

Ambience Entertainment has just released the application form for expressions of interest for Series Three.

On the application form they say they are looking for “both new and experienced graziers with limited experience mustering with working dogs.”

So, whether you’ve just taken on a role as a grazier, or it’s been in your family for generations, you’re welcome to apply, the only condition is you must be relatively new to working with muster dogs.

The website goes on to say “You may be a complete novice or have only dabbled in working dogs, but if you’re passionate and up for the challenge of training a working dog puppy within 12-months, apply now!”

To apply you’ll need to provide all your personal details, as well as details of the property you work on and the role you fulfil on the property.

You’ll also need to prepare a 2-3 minute video telling the casting agent about yourself and why you’re interested in training a working dog.

Applications for the program are open until the 19th of August, so if you’re interested in learning some new skills and meeting your new four-legged best friend head on over to the application page.
