NSW Police are looking for four people wanted in relation to an aggravated break and enter of a hotel in Kingswood, on the south side of Tamworth, early this morning.
Oxley Police local area command says that at approximately 3:50am, four people with their faces covered broke into a room of a hotel on Spains Lane and threatened the occupants, before making off with a Ford Mustang.
The Mustang was seen travelling on the New England Highway near Scone, where police directed the driver to stop. The driver refused, and a pursuit was engaged, which led through Muswellbrook and Newcastle, then onto Mayfield where the vehicle crashed into a service station on Corona Street.
Newcastle officers arrived to find the occupants of the Mustang had fled.
Police are looking for four youth who may be able to assist with their inquiries, who are described as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island appearance, with no description of their clothing at the time being given.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Newcastle Police or Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
