The Armidale Antiques and Collectables Fair is on this weekend, February 17 to 19, at the Armidale Town Hall.
The Fair will be on from Friday February 17th from 4pm till 7pm, then Saturday 10am till 5pm and Sunday 10am till 4pm.
Quality dealers from N.S.W. Victoria, Tasmania and Queensland will be there with a variety of antiques and collectables. Some of the items have been previewed on the organiser’s Facebook page, including a range of Japanese vases, antique furniture, and beautiful glass pieces from the art deco era.
There are also some unique local pieces, such as a beautiful sterling silver trophy was presented to Charles Thorpe for the best Draught Stallion at the Uralla Show in 1877 (pictured above), which will be on display by Albion Antiques.
Jewellery, furniture, china, glassware, silver, bric a brac, everything else imaginable will be on display. All goods will be for sale and you can take them with you on the day.
Admission is $10 for adults, children are free in the company of an adult. Two & three day passes available at the door.
