Family friends of a teenager killed in a car crash in Boggabilla on Sunday morning have started a GoFundMe page which has already raised thousands of dollars for his funeral.
Queensland man Braxton Holland died when he crashed his Ford Falcon into a power pole on Yeoman Street at 1am.
Goondiwindi resident Carolyn Reynolds started the fundraiser on Sunday evening and has it already raised more than $7000.
“This family has suffered far too much over the last little while! We all know this! They have recently lost their family home due to fire and kept battling on!” the page said.
“This fundraiser is set up to ease the stress over the next coming weeks.”
“Pay for Braxton’s funeral, give him the beautiful send-off he deserves!”
