This week’s 2023 Texas Star Performance Horses (TSPH) Clinic Participants Campdraft to be held at the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre (AELEC) between 24-26 November will have around 1,500 nominations.

Unlike other campdrafts, entries for the TSPH Clinic Participants Campdraft are limited to participants of a Campdraft Clinic with Neil Faint throughout the immediate year – with two separate Jackpot events added to the program which are open to all competitors.

Amanda Nicholson and Neil Faint from Texas Star Performance Horses created this unique campdrafting event concept late in 2020.

The growth and support towards this event has increased daily and it is a highly regarded annual staple event on many equine enthusiasts calendars.

“Both Neil and I are extremely passionate about the future of campdrafting – and we want to continue paving the way for a safer and more enjoyable campdrafting experience for all competitors, especially beginner and novice riders,” said Amanda Nicholson.

This unique campdraft running over three days, will allow clinic participants to compete against other competitors of similar experience and skill levels with over $70,000 in cash and prizes on offer – provided by many generous sponsors including Zarraffas Coffee South Tamworth, Luke Petrie Saddlery, 92.9FM, 2TM, Eykamp Seeds, JMAC Cutter, Marsh Carney Saddlery, Piallamore Hay & Silage, Destination Tamworth, Elders Tamworth & Gunnedah, A&K Auto Electrical and Air Conditioning, Prydes EasiFeed and Johnson Transport.

“To cater for the wider and more experienced campdrafting competitors, we have also added a Jackpot Maiden Campdraft and Novice Campdraft where full points will be awarded and they’re open to everyone,” said Amanda.

The 2023 TSPH Clinic Participants Campdraft will kick off on November 24 at the Piallamore Hay and Silage Arena at AELEC – and will be live-streamed by Neil Jones Event Videography and Live Streaming. Entry to this event is free.
